What do you get when you cross a bassoon with a Walla Walla sweet onion? Answer: Music so sweet that it brings tears to your eyes. The Walla Walla Symphony has invited the Bros back (we can't believe it!) to perform a "chamber music" concert at 7:30 in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College Campus. We will premiere some new derangements and invite the audience to join us on Fanfare for the Common Bassoonist. Some cheap kazoos will be provided, or bring your own biggest, baddest buzz bomb, bro. Brother Bob will undoubtedly come up with a Top 10 list of reasons why you should have taken up the bassoon for Valentines Day. We're wondering whether the guy from Guam will make it this time?

Bassoons and Brew, what could be better? We return to the scene of our past crimes and sold out performances. The Bros and Sis will reprise Fanfare for the Common Bassoonist (with the help of the audience) and try out a few new derangements with our first brewpub appearance of the sopranoon. Minors are allowed to attend with an adult. We've even had a few babies in our audience in the past to experience the savagely soothing sounds of several 'oons. The Bassoon Brothers will make their first appearance at CMNW performing Prokofieff's Humorous Scherzo for a quartet of bassoons. This will be the only piece they will perform which will be part of the presentation of the complete wind chamber music pieces by Prokofieff.
